From one Motoring Legend to Another

Early one chilly morning in June we extracted two of our Tolman Edition 205 GTi’s from storage and headed over to Caffiene & Machine where we were to spend the day with VBH herself and her trusty film crew to film a piece for Driver Reviews. We were lucky enough with the weather and got plenty of footage as Vicki enjoyed several enthusiastic runs in the Warwickshire countryside, the local roads really putting the cars through their paces and showing off the abilities of the Michelin tyres.

These cars brought on the nostalgia for Vicki, reminding her how much fun these relatively light cars can be. The carefully integrated extra functionality of things like power steering and digital dash were a pleasant surprise and only added to the driving experience, adrenaline fuelled by the iconic sound of the exclusive Tolman Edition exhaust system. The 4 piston braking system with floating discs hardly broke sweat at road speeds, leaving plenty of ability in reserve. These bespoke cars are able to deliver a tactile and exciting driving experience in a way that no modern hatch can match!
