Saturday saw us and our driver Gary Furst at a rather wet and dreary Donington Park for the Arrowpak Euro Saloons and Sports car Championship.

The wet conditions worked in Gary’s favour and he successfully qualify third, this put him in an exemplary position for the first race. Race one was a dry start giving back the advantage of the wet qualifying to the more powerful cars. Unfortunately a technical difficulty resulted in a DNF for Gary. Disappointing as it was the team pulled together and ensured Gary was ready to go for race two on Sunday.

After the DNF on Saturday’s race, Gary had to fight from the back of the grid; this however did not stop him being noted as ‘the one to watch’. An excellent start by Gary saw him lap by lap creep up through the field he managed to take third and a well-deserved podium finish!! Gary was thoroughly thrilled with his finish and pace during the wet race.
