ARS – FIA 8862-2009 Racing Seat

Manufactured to the latest FIA 8862-2009 approval.

Building on the knowledge learnt from Predator SV & GT along with customer feed back we set about building the next generation of the Advanced racing seat.

Improving on such a high specification product with the FIA build specification and test criteria this certainly challenged our engineering department.

ARS has proved to have answered all the points that this high-end seat needs, to give confidence and reassurance to both teams and drivers who compete in disciplines where FIA 8862-2009 mandatory.

Build quality of this new Carbon one piece pre-preg shell, weight has been reduced to 7.5 kilos, improved lightweight aluminium mounting feet for improved installation, finally the new flame retardant brush nylon cover that exceeds the ISO 3795 specification adds the finishing touch.

As a six-point mounted seat, we have devised a way to make mounting the back shoulder mount to suit most applications staying within the FIA homologation.

With over 60 years of manufacturing experience 30 of which have been building FIA approved seats we are very proud to have bought this to market.

ARS now comes in two heights to put drivers in the correct seating position to keep their eye line within the FIA regulations.

• STANDARD – For a waist size of up to 34″
• TALL – For a waist size from 34″
