The opening of The Ginetta GT5 Championship took place last weekend at Oulton Park and despite the cold conditions the sun was shining for the team and our drivers.

With a season already under thier belts, Mark De Spong and Ian Ingram took to the track and made excellent progress early on. Ian recieved a podium finish in his first race which was very exciting. Due to an accident involving numerous vehicles in the second race and unfortunately involving Mark he was unable to finish, however thanks to the hard work of the Tolman Team he was fixed up and able to race in the third!

David Pattison had an excellent season debut, making excellent track times and after having to re-start the second race he overtook the fourth position driver to take third and the podium! David also finished the day third on the G20 table, which he was extremely pleased about.

After such a successful weekend for the Tolman team and drivers, we cannot wait for the second leg at Rockingham!
