The moment that we got the call, we knew this would be special. This little car had seen a lot of life already and our job was to ensure that it could continue its life as a daily used family runabout and fun station commuter.

Once the car was in the workshop and the stip down began, the inevitable “mission creep” set in. Thankfully, our client (not for the first time) was in agreement that this car was special enought to go the extra mile.

By the time the car was stipped to its component parts a vision had formed for what was to follow:

• Body restoration to OE+ standards, retaining the period looks and charm.
• Keep as many period mods (many now unavailable) as possible.
• Retain any usable trim and brightwork to enhance the existing character of the car, don’t be frightened of a little patina!
• Add a little refinement with sound deadening, windows that seal etc.
• Improve driving enjoyment by transforming road handling with adjustable suspension, improved brakes and much more.
• Bring accessible performance and reliability up to modern standards, our newly built engine and gearbox features the latest fuel injection tech mapped for the best “on road” driveability.
• Retrimmed interior mixes original fittings with modern convenience such as bluetooth streaming, USB connectivity, heated seats etc.

This Mini is now easy to drive, practical as ever, and riotous fun in any environment. Yet when the mood takes you, it would take a very determined modern hot hatch to keep up with this sixties classic down a typical British “B” road.
