After a very successful year in the Protyre Ginetta GT5 Challenge which culminated in six wins and 14 other podium finishes, Tolman Motorsport finished as the 2014 Team Champions. The team clinched the championship at the final round of the season at Donington Park after driver Alex Preston drove away from the opposition and won all three races of the weekend. Alex Preston and David Pattison finished the season 3rd and 4th in the overall driver standings.

Tolman Motorsport Team Manager Christopher Tolman commented, “This has been a great year for the team. We showed at Brands Hatch, where we managed to change the engine on Alex’s car in 1.5 hours that the boys don’t buckle under the pressure. That is our strength of our team with our background and experience in World Championship Motorsport. Alex and David have had great races all year and we look forward to building on the platform of successes this year to move forward into 2015 to bigger and better things. I would like to thank all the team for their efforts and commitment in providing us with a great year.
