This race will be David’s first in his brand new Ginetta G55 GT4 whilst be finishes his Ginetta GT5 Challenge campaign in the Tolman Motorsport prepared G20. David currently holds 4th in the drivers championship and Tolman Motorsport leads the teams championship.

David commented, “I’m really looking forward to getting behind the wheel of this bespoke GT4 car. It will be a great experience to join this popular championship with LIVE TV, tens of thousands of trackside spectators and the BTCC teams looking on. After a recent shakedown test, the car felt great and as usual meticulously prepared by Tolman Motorsport. My 2015 race programme in the G55 will be announce in the coming months once we have finalised our plans.”

Managing Director and Team Manager Christopher Tolman added, “This foray into the GT4 Supercup will hopefully again demonstrate our strengths, skills and experience. In all the races we have competed in this year, in Ginettas, histories and the supercar challenge we have only had one DNF that was down to the car, and that was a gearbox component failure and totally out of our control. We as a team are proud of this record and look to continue this in style at Silverstone.“

A special livery has been designed for this car for the LIVE television races on ITV4 by design consultant Chris Warner. “After direction by the team and driver this cubism style / modern disruptive naval livery was developed in our 3D environment ensure the best possible design from every angle. I think it should really stand out on TV amongst the plethora of traditional liveried cars on the grid.”
